Accessibility is an issue in every new Windows version. Besides the Microsoft team, there are also a lot of other developers who try to come up with more convenient ways in which you can control your operating system. Red Button is just one of those programs which aim to streamline your interactions with the computer.
The first good thing that I noticed when I tried out Red Button was the fact that its window is actually a small red button which you can place absolutely anywhere on your display. You can customize its icon, drag it anywhere on your screen or put it in your system tray, thus ensuring that it will never get in your way.
Another plus is that, besides offering standard functions like allowing you to instantly shut down your computer or to see every icon on the desktop while you still have active windows, Red Button offers a few extra features which really make it special. It can display all the windows currently running, it provides a list with every launched process and it offers a small spy window which is especially handy for developers.
As a personal conclusion, Red Button is a tool that can definitely come in handy, but I'm not sure if the few seconds you gain by using it are worth paying for. Furthermore, the error that you get in Windows 7 and 8 when you try to access the "all control panel items" button can get really annoying.
